Morning Stroll — Using Reference to Study Light and Color

In this tutorial, I paint Morning Stroll from start to finish, focusing on how I use reference images to study light and color and translate those observations into a finished illustration.

I talk through my decisions as I work, explaining how I analyze reference material, extract useful information, and adapt it to support mood, lighting, and color relationships rather than copying it directly.
